St George’s Church open to visitors
As part of the Pocahontas 400 celebrations St George’s Church will open its doors to visitors on
Thursdays between 2pm and 4pm with volunteers welcoming and taking visitors around. This is a fantastic opportunity to view the beautiful stained glass window and plaque dedicated to Pocahontas, plus many other items of historic interest related to the Native American princess. These open afternoons will continue on Thursdays into the Spring.
From Spring 2017 there will also be a series of tours led by local historians. Full details of these will follow shortly.
