Join  Millbrook Garden Centre for a weekend of fun and fundraising, as we support Garden Re-Leaf Day and celebrate this national event at the start of the gardening season. Money raised will go to ‘Greenfingers’ – our industry’s charity dedicated to creating beautiful gardens in children’s hospices throughout the UK.

As well as showcasing our new Spring plant range, we’ve got activities for all the family with face painting, live music, fantastic raffle prizes to be won PLUS planting demonstrations. Come and join in the fun…!

Charity Coffee & Cake Morning

Join a Friday morning for a fun – and delicious – way of raising money for Greenfingers. A variety of yummy cakes will be available for you to purchase and enjoy with all proceeds going straight to charity.A perfect excuse to indulge with friends and family, whilst raising vital funds for this worthy cause.

 


Friday 17th March – 7pm to 8.30pm

An evening with Tom Hart-Dyke

English horticulturalist, author and plant hunter Tom Hart-Dyke kicks off our Spring Launch weekend with an evening reception and fascinating talk on the World Garden at Lullingstone Castle.  Described as the ‘new David Bellamy’, Tom’s talk promises to be one not to be missed!The cost is £20 per ticket which includes a glass of bubbles and canapes. Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th March – 10am to 2pm
Our Amazing Animal World Experience

Meet Henry the Hedgehog, Felipe the Chameleon and more with experienced animal handlers, Our Amazing Animal World. Get up close, learn lots of amazing facts and have the opportunity to hold some of the animals too.Each session lasts 45 minutes and costs £5 per child. Maximum of 20 per group.

Children’s Activities

We will have a whole host of activities to keep the children entertained and get creative. From face painting to a selection of craft activities to make and take home.All proceeds from these activities will go to the charity.

Planting Demonstrations

Julie and Tina, our plant experts, will be demonstrating how to successfully plant beautiful containers, perfect for your Spring garden! Look out for them in the outside plant area.The finished containers will be available to WIN – one of many exciting prizes to be won throughout the weekend with our Spring Launch Raffle
