Flora and Fauna Exhibition Open Call
Exhibition runs from 1st August – 3rd September 2023
Deadline for Submissions: 20th July 2023.
There are 3 categories for submissions:
Florists
We are inviting Florists to submit up to 3 pieces of floral displays for consideration for our Flora & Fauna Exhibition in August. There will be a small charge of £10 for every piece of work chosen to be part of the exhibition, however the work can be sold and there will be no commission fee charged. Alternatively, if you are interested in holding a workshop with us, no fees will apply. Please contact: artsandculture@gravesham.gov.uk to discuss available opportunities. Florists’ arrangements can be refreshed throughout the exhibition as and when required free of charge.
Artists/Crafters
We are inviting Artists, photographers, sculptures, crafters etc to submit up to 3 pieces of work for consideration for our Flora & Fauna Exhibition in August. Submissions can be in 2D or 3D media including but not restricted to painting, drawing, print, photography, crochet, knitting, felting and sculpture but must reflect the Flora & Fauna theme. There will be a small charge of £10 for every piece of work chosen to be part of the exhibition, however the work can be sold and there will be no commission fee charged. Young Artists
We are inviting young artists/crafters aged 25 years and under to submit up to 3 pieces of work for consideration for our Flora & Fauna Exhibition in August. Submissions can be in 2D or 3D media including but not restricted to painting, drawing, print, photography, crochet, knitting, felting and sculpture but must reflect the Flora and Fauna theme. There will be a small charge of £5 for every piece of work chosen to be part of the exhibition, however the work can be sold and there will be no commission fee charged.
