Let there be light
We’re starting our Christmas festivities in Gravesend Town Centre with a great line up of fun, festive entertainment from 2pm, culminating with our big light switch on at 5pm.
Come along and enjoy an afternoon of shopping for that perfect Christmas gift, from big retailers to fantastic independent traders, or sit back in one of the local coffee shops and eateries and enjoy the street entertainment.
Join the Mayor of Gravesham and the cast of Snow White, this year’s fun-filled panto at The Woodville, alongside street entertainment and live music, in the build-up to the big moment.
The live music stage in the town centre will be hosted by Made In Kent Radio and will feature legendary UK garage artists, Luck & Neat.
The duo’s hour long DJ set starts at 4pm and will feature a performance of their huge top ten hit ‘A Little Bit Of Luck’. Made in Kent Radio also plan to broadcast their show live from the Christmas Big Weekend.
And if the shopping and town entertainment isn’t enough, why not visit our local Arts Centre, in St George’s shopping centre or head down to the riverside for a stroll along St Andrews, take in the views across the river or visit the amazing pop up Fourth Portal in St Andrews Church.
Finally, before heading home, why not visit some of the great eateries or local bars to really make a day of it!
