Join Birdwise North Kent as they welcome our amazing migratory birds back to our coast for the winter season and help to find out what species can be found on our North Kent coastline between Gravesend and Whitstable.
This event is being held at Gravesend Promenade. The Rangers will be by the cafe with the scope to watch the birds coming in to feed as the tide rises and we’ll also have a walk around the pond to record which birds are there.
Suitable for all the family including beginners, our Rangers will help with identification as we record the birds we see. Well behaved dogs are also welcome, but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbing the birds. If you have binoculars, please remember to bring them but don’t worry if not as you can have a look through our scope.
There is paid parking in the Milton Place car park and toilets and cafe on the promenade.
There is no need to book for this event.
