Name of Workshop: Paper Lotus Flowers
Description: Three Summer Lotus Workshops will offer participants the opportunity to enjoy an indulgently peaceful evening of sensory enjoyment, including the chance to try different Chinese teas to refresh themselves as they craft, to a backdrop of gentle music.
Summer Lotus Workshop 3 – 60 – 90 mins – Wednesday 16th
We will make lotus leaves and mould them whilst looking at slideshows of Chinese lotus flowers to derive inspiration for life-like shapes.
For members who have attended the previous workshops, we will arrange the flowers together with the leaves we just made.
We will listen to the guzheng, a sophisticated string instrument that is said to “please the ears”, and drink white tea with snacks.
