our images. The first one shows the woods, the second one is a man showing fire lighting, the third one shows a dutch oven over the fire, the last one shows marshmallows over the fire.

Join Ian for a unique family bushcraft and cooking experience deep in the heart of Gravesham.

Teaming up with Badgells Wood campsite, delve into the English woodland.  Get to grips with some bushcraft and cook a meal over the campfire you have prepared.

Badgells Wood is on a mission to inspire a love of the woods. This, combined with being positioned on the beautiful North Downs AONB, makes it the perfect location to soak in the beauty of the area.

During your experience, journey through the ancient woodland and identify the trees in the area. You will hear stories of the mythology that our pagan ancestors told.

After the exploration, you will be led to a clearing where you will learn fire lighting skills. You will then prepare a warming vegan meal using Dutch Ovens over the fire.

To wrap the day off you will all come together to enjoy the meal you created and enjoy some campfire treats.

All you need to bring is warm clothing (as well as some waterproofs), strong walking shoes or boots and a sense of adventure!

So that they can cater for everyone correctly if we can ask that everyone fills out the form – https://form.jotform.com/220084437959060
