Festival of Eid

On the Community Square, 1.30pm to 5pm. A celebration of Eid will be happening on Saturday 29 June and is open to everyone regardless of faith or those of no faith. Eid is the festival of breaking the fast, marking the end of Ramadan. The celebration will focus around promoting a better understanding of Islam and will include activities for families such as face painting, small fun fair, henna as well as the sharing of free food. All are welcome.

Northfleet Carnival

Northfleet Carnival is a community run carnival for Gravesend and Northfleet. The carnival runs once a year usually in July and is aimed to show the very best that the local communities and charities have to offer. The Northfleet Carnival has now been running for 50 years and originally started with a journey from central Gravesend to Northfleet to Wombwell Park.
