Climb aboard the spectacular replica of a Spanish galleon, which sailed the world's oceans for three centuries!
The Galeon Andalucia, the replica of the 17th Century Spanish galleon, will open its decks to the public, so you can climb aboard and learn about life on the sea for sailors of hundreds of years ago.
You can visit the 'floating museum' and wander around six decks with interactive presentations and exhibits, displays, videos, projections, historical documents and demonstrations by crew members in traditional costume.
The visit to the Galeon Andalucia consists of a walking tour and you are free to stroll around the decks and chat to the sailors living on board. Photos are allowed.
Gravesham Borough Council is delighted to welcome the Galeon Andalucia over the weekend of 14 and 15 September, when the Franklin Festival will take place along the river at St Andrew's Quay and Gardens.
