Floral Chandelier Project
About the project:
We are working with artists from LV21 to create a new floral installation inside Gravesend Borough Market. The flower chandeliers will be created from hand crafted flowers made by artists and the community.
On this page you will find important information about the project, guidance on how to make flowers and information on how to drop off your creations. Due to the pandemic some details may change, so please do visit this page again to keep up to date with the project.
How to get involved:
We need hundreds of flowers made, so, if you would like to create fabric, knitted or crochet spring flowers for this project, then please make them in bright or pastel shades and no smaller than 10cm.
When do I need to make my flowers by:
We would like all flower donations in by mid March
How to drop off your flowers:
There is a drop off box in the food court of Gravesend Borough Market
Due to the current restrictions we would like to ask that you only drop off your flowers if you are making an essential journey into town. Once restrictions are lifted, we will update information on drop off locations or ask for you to contact us if you have flowers that require collection.
