Established in 1999, Gravesend Visitor Information Centre has achieved much in growing the visitor economy in Gravesham and provides a high quality service to visitors to the area.
We work with national and local tourism partners including Visit Britain, Visit England, Tourism South East and Visit Kent.
The quality of the Visitor Information Centre’s services has been recognised at a national level in winning numerous Tourism awards.
Frontline Visitor Information staff are trained to respond to a wide range of customer and visitor enquiries and can provide the following services:
- Bookings for local events, guided tours, boat and coach trips.
- UK and local accommodation search and bookings.
- Friendly and knowledgeable advice on where to go and what’s on in Gravesham.
- The sale of a small range of souvenirs, maps, guides.

Gravesend Visitor Information Centre is now located in the Borough Market.
A visitor information service is open now open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
