Back in 1844 the building was owned by J. Littlewood, a draper and cloth merchant.
It stayed that way until 1862 when it was acquired by Anthony Barnaschina, an auctioneer, upholsterer and undertaker who owned it until 1885.
From the 1950s you could also find Boots located here.
