Come along for a cosy morning spent learning the technique of punch needling.
We will use the punch needle tool to create textured art from yarn, which is punched onto a fabric framed by the wooden hoop.
You can choose from one of our Autumn or Halloween inspired motifs or use your own creativity to create a design of your choosing.
This workshop will teach you the basics of punch needling and you will be able to keep your punch needle tool to continue the craft at home.

Workshop suitable for ages 11 – 17
Workshops must be booked in advance via the Woodville Box Office
Please note, children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times throughout the workshop. Adults do not need to book a place if only assisting the child.
Please also note this workshop will take place in the main gallery space alongside our Autumn/Halloween Exhibition ‘Frights and Delights’.
We aim for our workshops to be as inclusive as possible and invite everyone to attend. However, if the participant has additional needs, please contact us in advance via: artsandculture@gravesham.gov.uk so that we can make our facilitators aware.
Photography and Videography may take place at any of our workshops/events for future advertising. We will always make you aware before we take any photographs, and if we intend to take shots other than completed artwork, backs of heads or hands, then we will always ask you to complete a permission form beforehand. Should you not wish to be photographed at all, please inform the member of staff.
