Concert By Candlelight - Poetry & Music Evening

The Julian String Quartet explore the intimate connection between The Four Quartets by T.S. Eliot and the Beethoven String Quartet Op. 132. Poetry read by Dode’s very own Doug!

 

ABOUT THE CONCERT
The program includes:
– T.S. Eliot Little Gidding & Beethoven Quartet Op.135
– John Donne Poems & Purcell Fantazias

Julian String Quartet:
Jean Paterson (Violin) performs all over the world with English Baroque Soloists, The Sixteen, English Touring Opera, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Oxford Bach Soloists and Instruments of Time and Truth.

Lucy Hewson (Violin) Hewson is currently violinist with the Bath Pump Room Trio, Europe’s longest running resident ensemble. She is much in demand as a free-lance orchestral and chamber musician.
