Join Bird Wise for a free gentle guided walk!
Come along during the Easter holidays at Higham and Shorne Marshes for a gentle walk out to the Thames Estuary with time to stop and observe the birds we spot along the way. The walk is suitable for beginners and experienced birders alike. Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance.
Meeting place – Outside Little Peckers Café, Canal Rd, Rochester ME3 7JA
Time – 13.00 to 15.00
Parking – Park on Canal Road
Facilities – There are no toilet facilities at this location
Type of walk – Out and back on the pathway along the canal out to Thames Estuary. Paths are fairly flat but can be muddy if it has been raining so suitable footwear is recommended
It is free to attend the walks but spaces are limited so please book your spot to avoid disappointment.
