Join us at our November pop-up on the Pier weekend (coinciding with the Christmas Light Switch on) for our fun free family craft drop-in session with Clare from Meet and Makes.
Families are invited to drop-by and decorate a pinecone, using safe and non-toxic hi-tack glue to stick multicoloured miniature pom poms to the pinecones provided. Add baker’s twine or yarn to create a hanging loop for the pinecones to become your very own handmade Christmas decorations.
Multicoloured pom poms will give the opportunity for expression of creativity: choose a single colour to fit in with existing decorations, be fast and random, or make a methodical pattern alternating your favourite colours.
Activity takes approx. 10-15 minutes to complete.
No booking required, just turn up on the day and drop in as you like between 11am – 3pm.
This workshop is suitable for families from ages 4+
Please note, children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an appropriate adult throughout the activity.
We aim for our workshops to be as inclusive as possible and invite everyone to attend. However, if the participant has additional needs, please contact us in advance via: artsandculture@gravesham.gov.uk so that we can make our facilitators aware.
Photography and Videography will take place at this workshop and the rest of the event on the Pier for future advertising. If we intend to take shots other than completed artwork, backs of heads or hands, then we will always ask you to complete a permission form beforehand. Should you not wish to be photographed at all, please inform the member of staff.
