This small cottage style garden is packed with native wildflowers, perennials, annuals, herbs, grasses, ferns, trees and shrubs to attract and sustain wildlife throughout the year. Container grown vegetables, 3 ponds and a lawn with seating for teas. Photographic display in summerhouse. New this year, extended and replanted terraced garden with small meadow areas.
High up on Windmill Hill with extensive views across the river Thames this sunny garden has been evolving for 36 years. The owner’s principle interest is in insects, birds and amphibians and this garden is planted and designed to attract them and provide water, food and shelter for all throughout the year. No chemicals or fertilisers are ever used and there is no pest control. Harmony is achieved by allowing all species to thrive to keep food chains intact.
Just turn up and pay on the day.
