Drifting is a live sonic performance that explores identity through sound, movement, and improvisation. Performed by multidisciplinary artist Juice Cui (melodica, electronics, voice) and cellist Santiago Lowe, the work reflects on how identity is continually shaped by memory, migration, displacement, and human connection. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, Drifting unfolds as an evolving sonic landscape where acoustic cello, live electronics, field recordings from cassettes, sound of water and melodica interact in real time.
