A composer-violinist creating multimedia compositions, in this new work Martha Mitu will document the past and current state of the area surrounding the Thames Barrier, before the area becomes another up-and-coming residential area. Based on her own experience living in a local house that was once a Victorian pub, the composition is inspired by and represents the industrial, community, and nature sounds heard in the area as it is transformed.
