Join Bird Wise North Kent for free activities to keep the kids entertained. Includes free birdwatching sessions and crafts for children.
This summer holidays Bird Wise North Kent are delighted to be back at the Promenade at Gravesend for some birdy themed fun for children. Come along and discover more about the amazing birds you can find along the Gravesend coastline and surrounding parks.
On Thursday 6th August come and try birdwatching with children’s binoculars and telescope and then make your own bird using a ‘build a bird’ templates.
On Thursday 20th August, make your own pair of binoculars to take home and try them out on our nature trail around the park and pond area.
Sessions are at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm on each day and are limited to 8 children per session. The activities are all free but booking is essential via online booking.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult but you only need to book spaces for the children taking part in the activities. If you have booked but are unable to attend please let us know so we can release your spot to somebody else.
