This family friendly workshop will see us exploring the world of yarn monsters.
You will learn how to make tassels and pom poms from yarn before turning them into Halloween monsters using pipe cleaners, googly eyes and craft foam. You can copy the examples provided or use the materials freely to create your own inventions. Maybe they become ghosts and spiders or maybe a three eyed monster from your imagination. At the end, you can string your monsters together to create a Halloween garland decoration.
Suitable from ages 4+, adult participation will be encouraged!

Please note, children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times throughout the workshop. Adults do not need to book a place if only assisting the child.
Please also note this workshop will take place in the main gallery space alongside our Autumn/Halloween Exhibition ‘Frights and Delights’.
We aim for our workshops to be as inclusive as possible and invite everyone to attend. However, if the participant has additional needs, please contact us in advance via: artsandculture@gravesham.gov.uk so that we can make our facilitators aware.
Photography and Videography may take place at any of our workshops/events for future advertising. We will always make you aware before we take any photographs, and if we intend to take shots other than completed artwork, backs of heads or hands, then we will always ask you to complete a permission form beforehand. Should you not wish to be photographed at all, please inform the member of staff.
